Product Description
Tegu & Monitor Food: The first commercially developed food for large carnivorous (i.e. meat eating) lizards. Has a chicken/soybean base which provides the higher protein levels necessary for these types of lizards. Can also be fed as a treat to box turtles and omnivorous lizards.

I have two large sized monitors (A Nile and a Savannah Monitor) both of which were rescues. This food is obviously very liked as it does not last long at all sitting in their tanks. It has helped them put on a little extra weight which was good. Also, with them being on the larger side this is definitely not their only food source, they also get rats, super worms, roaches, hard boiled eggs, and cooked beef liver. Yet this food is one of their favorites, and the good thing is it is inexpensive, so I don't really mind.

My Argentine B&W loves this stuff, he polishes off a can every other day along with the occasional fuzzy.
